Passion
Even as a child, he listened with fascination to 1950s hits on the radio. Music has been a constant companion throughout his life. Through various encounters, he was able to explore a wide spectrum of musical genres. He developed a growing interest in what was happening outside the mainstream—what was then called the “underground”—focusing on anything fresh, interesting, and emotionally resonant. Improvisation holds a special place for him, offering a means of immediate expression.

Curiosity
Exploring instruments—the guitar, the drums. A tough choice. The guitar won by a narrow margin.
Exploring the computer—vast possibilities for my music. Often, a specific synthesizer patch leads to a piece, a miniature, or a starting point for further musical ideas.
